Our idyllic setting in the scenic foothills above Big Pine, California, surrounded by the Inyo National Forest and adjacent to Palisade Glacier and Kings Canyon National Park, with endless outdoor recreation and sightseeing opportunities nearby, makes us a perfect location for group events of all kinds:

  • Camps
  • Nature Studies
  • Offisites
  • Outdoor Adventure
  • Retreats

Use the center as a base from which to explore the Sierra or simply enjoy some quality time with your group on our peaceful campus.

Operated by the Inyo County Superintendent of Schools, Sierra Adventure Center is a not-for-profit multipurpose campus with camp-style dormitories, staff housing for eight and a restaurant style central kitchen and dining hall that can seat 125 guests. Our spacious grounds include a baseball diamond, a basketball court, an outdoor amphitheater with campfire pit, nature trails and plenty of grassy areas for outdoor activities.

The Sierra Adventure Center is available for lease to groups with a minimum of 20 persons (Max. 125 persons) on a per-night or per-week basis at reasonable rates. Consult our rate table for rates on accommodations or contact Mike Muldoon at 760-938-2936 for reservations or additional information
